Hi! My name is Guillem Muñiz, I'm an IT professional born and raised in Barcelona (Spain).
I have been managing computers and tech devices from a very early age, spending many hours in front of a screen -perhaps a little bit unhealthy and sedentary-. The hobby for technology has been transformed into my occupation, nevertheless, it is still my passion.
In 2017, I settled a new life in Dublin (Ireland) working at Evros and for VMware as well. I also lived in Auckland (New Zealand) working as a Senior System Engineer at Evros (IT Managed Services and Cloud Computing). At the beginning of 2021, I got back to my roots to restart my life -geek joke- in my hometown. Nowadays, I help companies to accomplish their digital transformation, working as Solutions Architect in DesktopToWork.
But before all the aforementioned, I worked as a System Administrator at GFT IT Consulting (Banking & Insurance) and IT Manager at Video Stream Networks (Broadcast & Media).
And I would like to highlight the start of my professional career, I started working as intern System Administrator and thanks to the hard work, motivation and my determination, I got promoted to IT Manager short after the completion of my internship.
As time has been going by, I've managed to develop my skills, gained experience, passed some certifications and acquired new roles as Microsoft 365 Security Expert, Architecting in Microsoft Azure and VMware Professional (VCP6.5-DCV) to fulfill the IT industry demands and expand my knowledge.
I'm a huge fan of photography, sports, traveling and economy - finance & business development.
